Painting is created completely by hand, one of a kind. Pure pink with purple shading ripples and flows, creating an illusion of dimensional poppy petals. Dark spots at the base add realism to this slightly fantasy color combination, and the center of the poppy has been dimpled from the back for surreal texture.

The ruffles are painted using the trompe l'oeil technique, which is the practice of creating an illusion of three dimensional elements on a flat surface. The metal is slightly curved forward, and will cast interesting shadows on your wall.
