Reclaimed 20 gauge aluminum has been hand cut and hammered into two distinct pieces, an orange and a pear. Any sharp edges resulting from the tooling process have been manually filed down, and each has a sturdy custom-made hanging bracket attached to the back. We recommend you hang these using wall mounted picture hooks (not included.)

After the metal was hammered and shaped we cleaned the pieces thoroughly and used a spray primer. Both orange and pear are entirely hand painted. I often make some small sketches to guide me before painting, but I allow myself freedom to take the final piece in any new directions that strike me. This leaves you with a finished art piece that is weird, cool, and one of a kind.

I designed this duo to represent fun and friendship. I would love for you hang one piece in your own home and give the other to your best pal, like "best friends" necklaces in art form. Or gift them for an engagement, wedding, or anniversary. And nothing wrong with loving yourself and getting some kooky fruits that are all your own. Whatever the reason, I hope these bring a smile to your face and everyone who meets them.
