Sturdy reclaimed sheet steel has been hand formed and hammered as a base for this art piece. A subtly embossed cat face is visible on the front that was hand hammered using an original form we make ourselves. Painting is ready to hang from a hand made clip attached to the back, suitable for a small nail or picture hook.

After tooling, the metal was thoroughly cleaned and primed, then entirely hand painted with artist acrylics. A soothing tan is the base for bright, translucent shapes in red, yellow and vivid blue. A stylized and stylish kitty is painted in an olive drab with eclectic markings reminiscent of a sinuous python. She looks over her shoulder at the viewer through heavily lidded eyes, and bold black brush strokes outline the cat's form as well as provide another layer of visual interest to the patterned background.

Art is protected with a Matte clear coat.
