Reclaimed 20 gauge aluminum has been hand cut and manually hammered to make this dimensional wall piece. All edges were manually filed smooth and is ready to hang from a custom made aluminum clip.

Cranky Pansy is hand painted from start to finish and every one is a unique individual. Here I have used a vivid orange, fluorescent red, a bright purply blue and subtle green accents. The lips are an acid green and the eyes are periwinkle and purple.

Due to the unique hammering this art is dished in such a way it draws you in even if you're observing from the side. Because of how the edges mimic an organic pansy shape, the curves cast interesting shadows. A proud pansy owner has reported that in the afternoon sun her pansy looks like it's floating off the wall, which sounds pretty cool.
