Original painting on a handmade base of thick aluminum which has been hand cut and hammered to form a dimensional piece that appears to float off your wall.

A friendly pink cottage with thatch roof and stucco finish floats on its own scrap of earth.  Filmy curtains with colorful dots drift at the open windows, where a white cat on the ground floor observes the yard where a picnic blanket has been laid out with colorful cushions, a good book, and a tray with tea and cake. Worn blue stone steps lead to the round wooden door stained a deep purple, slightly ajar (as you only stepped in for a moment to grab a light sweater.) To the left a colorful flower garden with a variety of cottage favorites bloom, with two topiary shrubs and a bird bath visited by two cardinals. An orange cat crouches on the grass, stalking a butterfly on the tail of the shrubbery cat. Other details include a stained glass window at the top of the house and a blue rock wall on the right side.
