Reclaimed .063 aluminum (about 1.6 mm thick!) has been hand cut, annealed and hand hammered into a lovely curvalicious ice cream shape. All edges are manually filed smooth and a sturdy hanging attachment is secured to the back. The back serves to hold the ice cream away from your wall, casting cool shadows and creating a floating effect.

The hammering process created a series of small nicks and scratches on the surface of the piece, especially the face. I love them, to me they're cool and unique, but you may disagree. Please take a good look at the detail photos of the face.

I like to call these colors Electric Pastels... they're soft hues yet they POP! A minty teal, faded fuchsia, and baby blue blend together in this dripping ice cream scoop. The eyes are a vivid magenta with red shading, and hues of pink and red make up the flat bottom cone.
