This monkey is the latest addition to our Brüde series of paintings!

My design partner Gepre, a metal artist and fabricator, manually cut and formed a piece of reclaimed .032 aluminum into a dimensional wall art piece. It comes ready to hang from a hand made aluminum attachment.

After cleaning and priming the metal I started with a wild plaid in red, orange and yellow, with orange stripes and white checks. Between layers I lightly sanded the piece to give the pattern a worn, aged effect. A wild teal and lavender monkey floats on the scene, wearing a beige and brown argyle tie. Next to them we see an IBM AT and the ever popular IBM Model M keyboard, and tasty looking donuts fly with wild abandon. Desk drone or party animal... Who says you have to choose!

Art is protected with a Matte clear coat.

Not pictured, both artist's signatures and creation date are hand engraved on the back.

Our metal paintings are more durable than canvas and lighter weight than wood. Please display indoors and out of direct sunlight.
